Day 01:
Chennai-Arrival
Upon your arrival at Chennai airport, expect a warm welcome from us. Our representative, along with a car and driver, will greet you and ensure your smooth transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Chennai. Later, embark on a tour of the city’s major highlights, renowned as the gateway to South India. Explore iconic landmarks such as Fort St. George, St. Mary’s Church, the National Art Gallery and Museum showcasing a variety of ancient paintings. Take a leisurely stroll along Marina Beach, the second longest beach in the world. Additionally, visit the San Thome Cathedral and the impressive Mylapore Shiva Temple. As the day draws to a close, we’ll transfer you back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 02:
Chennai-Kanchipuram-Mahabalipuram
After enjoying breakfast in the morning, you’ll be chauffeured to Kanchipuram, revered as one of the seven most sacred cities of ancient India, akin to Kashi, Puri, and Dwarka. Kanchipuram is globally renowned for its exquisite handwoven silk fabrics. While there, explore the renowned Kailashnath Temple and Ekambaresava Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Following your visit to Kanchipuram, proceed towards Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind for the night.
Day 03:
Mahabalipuram
After a nourishing breakfast, embark on a tour of Mahabalipuram, formerly known as Mamallapuram. This city is renowned for its magnificent temples and a series of monuments erected during the Pallava Dynasty rule. The group of monuments at Mahabalipuram dates back to the 7th and 8th centuries. Explore iconic landmarks such as the Shore Temple, the Five Rathas, and the Mahishasura Mandam. At the conclusion of the day, we’ll transfer you back to the hotel.
Day 04:
Mahabalipuram-Chennai
On the fourth day of your tour, following breakfast, our team will drive you to Chennai Airport for your onward flight to your next destination.
